Chapter 0162: The Female Drunkard

Rebirth of a Perfect Future · 第0162章 女醉鬼

If He Yunzhi knew that Zhao Fusheng, who had originally had no intention of setting foot in the entertainment industry, decided to make arrangements in that field because of her attitude, her expression would surely be quite interesting.

No one can be flawless, unless they are a saint.

Zhao Fusheng never thought of or intended to be some unworldly saint, because he believed that only by being alive and making others feel that you are not too far from them can you truly live.

A long time ago, Zhao Fusheng always tried to get along with everyone, after all, one should be lenient when possible, and more friends mean more paths.

But as he grew older and gained more experience, Zhao Fusheng gradually understood that just because you want to get along with someone doesn't mean they will get along with you. Many times, people who smile at you to your face will stab you in the back when they turn around.

Take Mu Qingwan, for example. Although Zhao Fusheng didn't know what role she played in the whole affair, he was sure it was nothing but the tactic of playing the good cop and the bad cop. He Yunzhi played the bad cop, while Mu Qingwan played the good cop, with the ultimate goal of winning him over.

But unfortunately, life cannot tolerate falsehood, because life is made up of every real day.

For Zhao Fusheng, if he weren't a reborn person, he might have been tempted by the recruitment of these two, even if he knew what tricks they were playing.

But since he had already restarted his life, Zhao Fusheng could no longer become someone's subordinate.

Better to be the head of a chicken than the tail of a phoenix.

Zhao Fusheng had long understood this principle.

With all sorts of random thoughts in his mind, Zhao Fusheng fell asleep in a daze. His flight was at nine o'clock the next morning, and he had to get up at seven to go to the airport, so he didn't dare sleep too late.

But in the middle of the night, he was awakened by a knock on the door.

Beep, beep, beep!

The sound from outside made Zhao Fusheng frown.

Someone seemed to be trying to open the door with a key card, but couldn't get it open. The person outside seemed unhappy and even kicked the door with a thud!

"What's going on?"

Zhao Fusheng's expression changed. Beijing shouldn't be that chaotic, right? Under the emperor's nose, in a proper big hotel, could it be a honey trap?

Getting up from the bed, Zhao Fusheng walked to the door and asked, "Who is it?"

The person outside didn't speak, still persistently swiping the key card. The beeping sound made Zhao Fusheng's expression turn sour.

Just then, it suddenly went quiet outside.

Just as Zhao Fusheng let out a long breath and was about to turn back to bed, a voice from outside instantly made him lose his composure.

"Open sesame!"

Pfft!

Zhao Fusheng nearly collapsed. What the hell was this? Open sesame? Why not say abracadabra?

Without a second word, he opened the door, ready to argue with the person outside.

But as soon as the door opened, a nauseating smell of alcohol hit him, almost making him throw up.

Taking two steps back, Zhao Fusheng frowned and looked at the person at the door, but froze.

"A woman?"

What came into Zhao Fusheng's view was a long-haired woman wearing a pair of sunglasses, her face unclear. Clearly, she was very drunk, unable even to stand steadily, as if she might collapse at any moment.

Even more absurdly, after Zhao Fusheng opened the door, the woman seemed quite surprised: "Ah, the spell worked?"

Spell my ass!

Zhao Fusheng looked furious. Anyone woken up from a sound sleep in the middle of the night wouldn't be in a good mood. They say one should have self-restraint and grace, but that depends on the time and the person.

There are always those who like to play the saint, to be the good person. They're always preaching compassion, always concerned about vulnerable groups, strict with others but lenient with themselves. Even murderers and human traffickers, they claim, deserve humane care. In Zhao Fusheng's view, such people are just talking without considering the difficulty; they should taste the pain of the victims' families themselves and see if they can still hypocritically say the word 'forgive.'

Of course, disturbing someone's sleep isn't a heinous crime, so Zhao Fusheng could still muster the patience to talk to the woman before him. If it were a human trafficker or something, he'd go straight for the kill without a second word.

Anyone who harms young children, for whatever reason, deserves to die!

"You've got the wrong room, right?" Zhao Fusheng said helplessly to the woman before him.

"Hey? Who are you, and what are you doing in my room?" The woman seemed a bit surprised, looking at Zhao Fusheng as she asked. Clearly, she hadn't expected anyone to be in the room.

Zhao Fusheng was dumbfounded, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. So he was the one accused of taking over someone else's nest: "Sister, this is my room. Where do you live? I'll take you back."

What a joke! He'd been staying here for days, and out of nowhere someone comes claiming it's her room. Who would put up with that?

But the woman completely ignored Zhao Fusheng, rudely squeezed into the room, and without paying him any attention, walked straight toward the bed: "You're from housekeeping, right? No need to tidy up. I want to sleep..."

Housekeeping?

Housekeeping my ass!

Zhao Fusheng wished he could just pick the woman up and throw her out the door, but before he could make a move, she collapsed headfirst onto his bed.

Holy shit!

A herd of river crabs instantly stampeded through his mind, and Zhao Fusheng felt utterly terrible.

He wasn't some sex-crazed fiend, nor had he ever thought about any romantic encounters. For someone to barge into his room, collapse on his bed to sleep, and a drunk woman at that—it was just too absurd.

"Hey, hey, hey, get up. Is that your bed?" Zhao Fusheng frowned, trying to pull the woman up, but he stepped on something. He picked it up and looked at it, instantly speechless.

It read 309—yes, the number 309.

"I'm in 306," Zhao Fusheng said through gritted teeth, helpless.

But clearly, he'd forgotten a very important point: you can't reason with a drunk person.

"Get lost! Don't try to fool me. Men are all no good, all liars!" The woman shouted loudly, waving her hands as if shooing flies after hearing Zhao Fusheng's words.

Her voice was too loud. Zhao Fusheng quickly turned back and closed the room's door. If this attracted someone in the middle of the night, he'd never be able to clear his name.

"Liars, all liars!" The woman kept muttering.

Zhao Fusheng looked helpless, thinking, How badly were you deceived by a man to blacklist the entire male population?

"I want water..."

"Huh?"

Zhao Fusheng was stunned. Before he could react, the woman's next move made his soul flee in terror...
